Sorry for the delay in getting photos (or "snaps" as the Zambians call them) up. Here are a few I took last night and of the inside of my guesthouse. I took a couple this morning of the grounds outside, but forgot to bring my cable to work so I can't upload them now. I'll post those tomorrow.
To the left is my kitchen, which is actually pretty big but cramped a bit because of the table in the middle. I'm thinking of moving the table out into the living room (below) because there's a ton of space out there.

To the right is a shot of my water purifyer that sits on my counter. It's probably my favorite thing in the kitchen, as the water that comes out is quite tasty. The thing is damn big and ugly though.

To the left is my living room; sorry for the awful lighting, but I couldn't get a better shot even this morning with natural light. The "couch" in the corner is actually a twin mattress with a cover and pillows.

And the bathroom, nothing fancy.

And my bedroom: those are two twin beds pushed together, which didn't work too well.

And lastly, a photo of my back door just to show you the badass bars on the windows. There are similar bars over the outside of the front door and over every window on the house.

Not sure if this would be possible given the headboards, but my experience living in double single dorm rooms for a few summers tells me that you should flip the beds so that the crack between them is horizontal rather than vertical. Then if you fall in, it's only your middle--not your whole self.
Thank you for sharing your trip with us!
