Sweet relief...

I finally quit whining and ordered a coffeemaker last week. It will take about 2 weeks to get here through the Diplomatic pouch used to transport U.S. mail here to us. But my outstanding CDC boss Carmen and her husband gave me a french press, travel mug, and some coffee to hold me over. I feel like a million bucks this morning...wahoo!

So I finally got caught up on all of your posts. It looks like you are having an interesting time. :-) The photos are great!

I had all kinds of coffee advice (I was slowly turned to the dark side in graduate school and then was introduced to methods that produce fundamentally superior coffee and was lost forever) but you have solved that problem so I will keep it to myself except for one thing: don't use artificial sweeteners! See two links below for more information.

I know, I know, here you are with all kinds of adventurers and my post is all about coffee. You seem to have most of the other stuff under control though... except for the laundry. :-)

Keep up the posts!
